Beers and Story - South Hadley
Jonathan Peter Larrow
June 3rd, 1985 - February 4th, 2022
Jonathan was called to heaven much too early on February 4, 2022 as a result of a tragic accident. He will be welcomed by his grandfather, Edwin Peter Larrow, his maternal grandparents Robert and Ruth (Nana) Lynch, his great-grandparents Edwin J. and Veronica (Duffy) Larrow and Martin and Marie (Mimi) Fallon, and great uncles Marty Fallon, Bill O’Neil and Louis Bail. Born June 3, 1985, he shared his birthday with his mom, having been born on her 24th birthday! He was the first grandchild on the Larrow’s side and was especially loved by his grandparents. Jon loved to visit McCray’s Farm with his grandparents as a child, he enjoyed playing basketball in the CYO youth program at Saint Patrick’s, scouting, and especially the annual Labor Day family wiffle ball games at Nana & Grandpa Lynch’s! He graduated from South Hadley High School and attended Holyoke Community College. As an adult he worked with his father at Beer & Winemaking Supplies, Inc in Northampton and later at Stadium Storage & U-Haul in Hadley. He enjoyed horticulture, hiking, weight lifting, and going to the beach. Jon loved collecting shoes—Jonny sneakers was one of his nicknames along with Jono! He also loved the many family dogs, especially our pit bull named Shadow. He was also an avid fan of the New England Patriots & Boston Celtics. Jonathan will be forever missed by his parents, Mark and Rosemary (Lynch) Larrow; his brothers, Patrick and Christopher, and his brother-in-law Derek, all of South Hadley; his grandmother, Janice (Fallon) Larrow; his aunts & uncles, Jay & Allison Larrow (Wakefield, MA), Michele & David Marcus (Pullman, WA), Denise & Danny Vanderpoel (West Chesterfield, NH), Eileen & Bill Borders (Lynn), Kathy & Mike Czepiel (West Springfield), Patty & Paul Dittrich (Holyoke), Bobby Lynch (Westfield), Joan & Dan Gazaille (Palmer), Ruth & John Shields (Monson) & Mike Lynch (South Hadley); His cousins, Andrew Lynch, Mike & Matt Czepiel, Erich Dittrich, Timmy, Shawn & Ryan Borders, Joe, Matt & Madeline Gazaille, Liam Shields, Lily Czepiel, Nicole & Jillian Vanderpoel, Mikey & Leah Marcus, Sean, Megan, Moira & Peter Larrow, and his second cousins, who Jonathan adored, Tyson & Kyra Vanderpoel. Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, Feb. 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jerome's Church in Holyoke. Please meet directly at the church.
