Michael Chatin

Michael H. Chatin, 42, passed away on September 8, 2015. He was born March 25, 1973 to H. Louis and Marcia Chatin in Bellevue, Washington. Michael married Jennifer Ward on May 11, 1996 in Santa Paula, California. He is survived by his wife Jennifer, their children Henley Grace Maree Chatin and Walker Robert Ward Chatin, parents H. Louis and Marcia Chatin, sisters Tracey Pelfrey, Carrie McGill and a large extended family. My husband was a very loyal man. We have been together for 23 years and we were going to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary May 2016. Know that he was an honorable man, trustworthy and the love of my life. We have beautiful twins, one boy and one girl, 2 ½ years old. As a father he was untouchable. He had complete devotion and love for his children; he was a super dad and my amazing husband. He was his dad’s best friend who was a great example of what a great father should be. Mike loved and worked hard. He appreciated his family and friends. Time was never an issue when he wanted to make someone feel loved or when he had a job that needed to get done. He was a man of few words but poured everything into those he loved. He was a mentor to many and made everyone give 110%. He had a quick wit, and a smirkey smile that would make anyone laugh. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was most comfortable in the great outdoors. He will be greatly missed by those who had the opportunity to know and love him. We are at peace knowing that Mike’s love of life can be carried on in others.
