Carolyn Cottrell Jones , 77, passed away peacefully at her home in Oakton, Virginia on Saturday, November 3, 2012. Born in Trenton, New Jersey on June 27, 1935, she received her BA in Psychology in 1957 from Denison University. Carolyn later earned an MS in Accounting from Georgetown University and worked as a CPA. A Virginia resident for more than 40 years, she served as a volunteer literacy tutor and advocated for environmental causes. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Howard P. Jones, and her two children, Michael Jones and Juliet Jones. The family will hold a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carolyn’s memory may be made to the Cure PSP Foundation.
