John Douglas Hoover, II (Age 6) John died peacefully in his sleep on May 20th, 2012 at his home in Alexandria, Virginia after valiantly fighting but losing a nearly 4 year battle with cancer. He is survived by his father, John Douglas Hoover and his mother, Carri Anne Hoover. While John’s death was tragic, his life was magic and he was, and will continue to be, an inspiration to all whose lives he has touched. Friends may visit on Thursday, May 24th from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm at Advent Funeral and Cremation Services, 7211 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22046 and where Words of Remembrance will be shared at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in John’s name to CureSearch for Children’s Cancer to further pediatric research.
