Reginald Williams

Reginald Williams, affectionately known as “Reggie, Reg, or Raheem” entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 18, 2016. He was born on May 29, 1968 in Lancaster, South Carolina, to Winthrop Tat Mingo and Betty Jean Williams. Reginald was educated in Washington, D.C. and Prince George’s County Public School Systems. He was a Boy Scout growing up and a member of Metropolitan and Hillcrest Heights Boys and Girls Club where he boxed and played football. He worked for Red Lobster at a young age, Marriott, WSSC and other various jobs until his accident. Reginald enjoyed cooking and was avid when doing so. He was very neat and organized when it came to his things. He was a scrupulous dresser and was very protective of his family and close friends. You did not want to mess with them or everyone who met him knew that lol!!! He was always willing to help anyone and would give his last dollar or borrow it if he didn’t have it. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted mother, Betty J. Williams; his father, Withrop T. Mingo; two daughters, Ashley and Diamond; three sons, Reginald, Raynal and Taarig; five grandchildren, Trinity, Saniya, Jocelyn, Essence and Hezekiah; his one and only sister who he cherished deeply, Erica Williams; four brothers, Antwan Farrow, DMitric Starke, TeJuan Jacobs and Reggie Quander; one brother-in-law and a close friend, Kenyatta Williams; four nieces, Keyanna (who he nicknamed Kinkleknots), Taysia, TeLynn and Kennedy; three nephews, Antwan Jr., Kenyatta Jr. DMitric Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
