Christian E. Guevara, 24, resided in Springfield Virginia, and his family honors and cherishes the time he was in their lives, 09/19/95 – 09/20/19. He will live forever in our hearts. Christian graduated from Robert E. Lee High School; and attended Northern Virginia Community College. Christian is survived by his parents Rosa and Eduardo Guevara; his sisters Stephanie and Ashley and his brother Brian. He also leaves his maternal grandparents and paternal grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral arrangements are as outlined below. He was very loved and cherished by all. Christian had an entrepreneurial mind and dreamed of owning his bakery and food truck. The food industry was of high interest for him, and the food industry was the platform he used to serve the community. He found his career path in food, and he inspired those around him with his kind heart and lovely smile. He also recognized the greatness in his siblings. He confidently talked about how Stephanie was great at her job and how he was proud of Brian’s career choice to join the Marines. He also spoke of his little sister Ashley, in which he was the only one that would call her by this name. Christian loved his mother and regarded her as his rock through the good and bad and would always cherish her and was thankful for the way she took care of him. His love for his dad was terrific as well. Christian’s hardworking characteristics came from his father, from a very young age. Christian would frequently have father and son bonding time while enjoying and introducing his father to fantastic food. Christian courageous and novel heart reminded us to enjoy each day. He embraced the family and wanted each one of us to be part of his journey. He was very loving to his family, and he demonstrated his love by making time to visit his grandparents, aunts, and uncles. The grandparents were delighted to see Christian walk in on a late afternoon after a long day of work. He shared that his employer had opened a store closed to his grandparents’ home and that he was helping that day. It was lovely and thoughtful of him to stop by to see the grandparents, and they very much loved and cherished that moment. Christian could be described as adventures, free-spirited, and wise beyond his years. He was not afraid to live in the moment always down to go to music festivals with friends, to hear EDM music, as well as head-bang, which was a skill he had that he taught his cousins. He was always up to going to different states to explore with friends. Free-spirited in a way that he was not afraid to be himself and be different, had a positive outlook on life no matter what was happening, the good and bad, there always seemed to be a rainbow at the end. Christian is to be admired in the way he lived his life; he lived life the way he wanted, with pure joy, laughter, and peace. Quotes he lived by include the following: “I don’t follow rules I make them and when necessary I break them.” “If it cost you your peace it’s too expensive.” “I am not crazy my reality is just different than yours.” “If you look at the people in your circle and don’t get inspired, then you don’t have a circle you have a cage.”
