HARRY EDWARD FOXWELL, JR. Saturday, June 11, 2016 of Falls Church, VA passed away with his family at his side. Born July 22, 1932 in Colonial Beach, VA, he was the loving husband of 64 years of Dorothy (Dot), devoted father of Harry (Stephanie), Steve (Kathy) and Christopher; grandfather of Terri, Kristi, Jeffrey, Andrew, Lauren, Stephanie, Christopher and Sarah; great-grandfather of Jamie and Jessica and beloved brother of Joy Earner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Harriett Foxwell, sisters Jean Sedwick and Mary Abel and granddaughter Kelly. Harry grew up in Arlington but was a long time resident of Falls Church, VA. He retired from the Arlington County school system after 38 years of service. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his ability to build and repair almost anything, his wit and wisdom, his many stories and his amazing Christmas trees. He will be sorely missed. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, June 27 at 11 a.m. at Westwood Baptist Church, 8200 Old Keene Mill Road, Springfield, VA 22152. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westwood Baptist Church.
