Dawn C Wilson

Dawn C. Wilson, 68, passed away September 17, 2018 at Trellis Supportive Care with her family by her side. A Celebration of her life will be held 5:00PM Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Service Chapel with Pastor Greg Mullis officiating the service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Dawn was born October 16, 1949 to the late Doyle and Garnett Campbell in Oxford, North Carolina. Dawn made sure that her two children had great experiences in life; she was always there for her children no matter what. She was not only a great mother; she was an amazing grandmother to Ella and Abby “Her Girls.” She loved spending time with her family at their lake house on Badin Lake. She enjoyed listening and dancing to beach music or the blues, going on adventures to the beach and playing double solitaire with her granddaughters. She was passionate about accounting and taxes all of her life. Dawn had over 20 faithful years as the Tax Manager with Personal Legal Plans. She took care of her tax clients up until her last days. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Brian Scott Wilson; daughter Christy Goodmon and her favorite son in law, Jonathan; granddaughters Ella and Abigail; brother Mike Campbell and wife Gail and sister Melody Turner and husband Mike; Helen Campbell; step sister Diane Wright and husband Gary and extended friends and family.
