Jeffrey B. Wagner

Jeff Wagner, 61, formerly of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully Tuesday August 20, 2019. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 3:00PM Sunday August 25, 2019 at Triad Church of Greensboro with Rev. Sally Queen officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. A native of Denver, CO, Jeff was the husband of Bebe Wagner and the son of John David Wagner and the late, Anne Andersen Wagner. Jeff will truly be missed. He was a friend to so many through his 29 years with Walmart. The adventure started in 1990 when Jeff went to work at the Walmart distribution center in Laurens, SC. From there, Jeff and his family moved around living in Cobleskill, NY, Hope Mills, NC, Shelby, NC, Gouldsboro, PA, Monroe, NC, Youngsville, NC, and most recently, Kernersville, NC. Jeff was the ultimate family man dedicating himself to working hard to provide the best possible life for his family. From coaching and caddying to singalongs and dance competitions, he dedicated his life to being his girl's biggest supporter and fan. As his children grew up, Jeff loved going to Carolina Panthers football games with his girls, never breaking that wonderful and loving daughter-daddy bond. His love for Bebe and the unselfish way he loved her will always be cherished. With all the relocating through the years, Jeff and Bebe were truly there for each other and were the ultimate duo. A great joy to Jeff was being a proud and loving grandfather to Harrison and Owen. As an original season ticket holder, he was so happy for Harrison to attend his first Panthers game last season. The last three years definitely took a toll on Jeff as well as the family that has loved and prayed for him. His determination to fight and help others through his own cancer battle was nothing more than how he always lived his life. Survivors include his wife, Bebe of the home; daughters, Kelsey Martin and husband, York of Winston-Salem, NC, and Amanda Wagner of Raleigh, NC; father, Dave Wagner and wife, Norma of Hendersonville, NC; grandchildren, Harrison Martin, and Owen Martin; sisters, Toni Wagner of Charlotte, NC, and Sue Lawson of Sutherlin, OR; and several nieces and nephews.
