January 31st, 1947 - October 29th, 2019
Rudolph Crockett, Jr., 72, of Kernersville passed away peacefully in the presence of his wife and daughter Tuesday, October 29, 2019. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service with Dwayne Petty officiating. The family will greet friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. A native of San Antonio, TX, Rudolph was the husband of Dr. Georgia McCauley and the son of the late Rudolph Crockett, Sr. and Alberta Anderson Crockett. Rudolph graduated from Breckenridge High School (San Antonio) and the University of Nebraska (Omaha). He was a retired financial consultant and served as a Major in the military (Army). In addition to his parents, Rudolph was preceded in death by wife Tsehay Araya Crockett, his brothers Willie Crockett and Daniel Crockett and sister Brenda Crockett. Survivors include his wife, Georgia; daughter, Tamara Elizabeth Williams (Frederick) of Concord, NC; son, Theodros Crockett of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren, Kayla, Elijah and Tsehay; sisters, Ruth Winters, Edith Guess, B. J. Scruggs and Bonita Willis (Norman); brothers, Shelly Crockett, James Crockett, Mark Crockett (Jackie), David Crockett (Charlene), and Paul Crockett and extended family, including numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
