April Crandall
April M. Crandall passed away on March 28 at the age of 99 due to complications of a stroke. April was born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, in 1919 to Harvey and Mabel White. The youngest child of this union, she passed away three days shy of her 100th birthday. She was married for 54 years to Joseph E. Crandall who passed away in 1992. She is survived by three children: William Crandall of Reno, Nevada, Jack Crandall of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and Dean Crandall of Fruita, Colorado. A fourth child, Mable Stanesa, is deceased. She has 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Joe and April packed up their fours kids and moved to Denver Colorado in 1958. April was a devoted mother and wife who loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed camping, fishing and was an excellent bowler into her nineties. While residing in independent living, she took up Wii bowling and excelled at this as well. A private graveside ceremony is planned.
