Kenneth ""Ken"" Hamrick Morrison
June 12th, 1948 - December 1st, 2022
Kenneth "Ken" Hamrick Morrison, 74, of Kernersville passed away on December 1, 2022 at Carolina Pines in Greensboro. A native of Shelby, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Grady and Ollie Morrison and husband to Linda Setzer Morrison. Ken was truly a wonderful husband for 41 years. He loved the Lord. He started a church and pastored 15 years at North Lafayette Street Baptist Church in Shelby, NC and also started Heaven's Avenue Baptist Seminary at the church. Anyone who knew him, knows how he loved going to the flea market. You could ask him what he sold and he would always say "junk". He loved his grandsons, Thomas and Matthew, with all his heart. He never asked for much in life, and he knew his riches were waiting for him in Heaven. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Mrs. Linda Morrison; his son, Brian Morrison; his stepson, Vaughn Rudd and wife, Patty; his stepdaughter, Stephanie Tickerhoff and husband, Mark; his grandchildren, Thomas Tickerhoff and Matthew Tickerhoff; his brothers, Calvin Morrison and wife, Patty, Blain Morrison, and Fain Morrison and wife, Shelby; his sister, Joyce Griffin; and his sister-in-laws, Patricia Morrison and Toshi Morrison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Morrison and Herman Morrison; his sisters, Mary McComb, Ruby Pruett, and Edna Bolin; and his brother-in-law, Leroy Griffin. A memorial service will be held in the upcoming months with details to be provided at a later date. Friends and family may sign the guestbook at www.piercejeffersonfh.com
