Daniel Harrison Brown
September 25th, 1961 - December 8th, 2022
Daniel Harrison Brown, 61, passed away on December 8, 2022 in his residence in Owasso, OK. Born in Fort Pierce, Florida and raised largely in Colfax, NC, he was the son of Grace Underhill and the late Joseph Brown, and the husband of Amy Wooten Brown. He worked in airline mechanics for most of his life with Piedmont Airlines, USAirways, Boeing, Siemens, and American Airlines. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served there in many capacities throughout his life. He loved classic rock music, weight lifting, working in the yard, and beach trips with his family, which included delicious food and fierce games of UNO. His grandkids call him Pops, and he loved being part of their lives. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Max Brown. Daniel is survived by his wife, Amy Wooten Brown of Owasso, OK; his sons, Corey Daniel Brown and wife, Kaeli, of Glen Elyn, IL, Jesse Harrison Brown of Owasso, OK, and Bradley Ender Brown of Owasso, OK; his daughters, Lyndsi Shae Bostwick and husband, Ken, of San Diego, CA, and Lacey Caroline Tilley and husband, Eddie, of Henderson, NV; his grandchildren, Linden and Sullivan of Lyndsi Shae and Ken Bostwick, Hazel and Rockwell of Corey and Kaeli Brown, and Tatum, Oakley, and Norah of Lacey and Eddie Tilley; his mother, Grace Brown Underhill; and his siblings, Tyler Ray Brown and Dawn Maria Jones. The family received friends at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Colfax, NC, on Saturday, December 17, 2022. Funeral services followed in the chapel, where friends and family shared loving memories of Dan, the comforting nearness of his spirit, and the faith that they will reunite with him after this life. Interment of his body was at the cemetery for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in Colfax, NC. Friends and family may sign the guestbook online at www. piercejeffersonfh.com
