Pamela Denise "Pam" Linville
January 30th, 1952 - February 12th, 2024
Pamela Denise “Pam” Linville, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 12, 2024. Pam was born in Forsyth County on January 30, 1952, to the late Phyllis Dean Joyce and step-father, the late Raymond Carroll Joyce. Pam was raised by her beloved grandparents, the late Lawrence Winfred Dean and Eva Harrison Dean. Pam was a life-long resident of Kernersville and worked in several prominent Kernersville businesses during her working career including Suzie’s Diner, Scotty Drugs and Stonestreet Drugs. She went on to serve as a corporate sales representative for Cingular Wireless and even opened a restaurant in downtown Kernersville known as Logan’s Carolina Café. Pam finished her working career as a branch manager for Allegacy Credit Union. Pam was a fiercely loving and devoted mother and grandmother, always putting the needs of her children and grandchildren above her own. She had a generous heart and a passion for helping others, especially children and animals. In Pam’s retirement years she enjoyed spending lots of time with her family, constantly doting on her grandsons and spoiling her beloved dog, Maryjane. She had a wide range of creative hobbies and always enjoyed the challenge of trying something new and making beautiful things. In addition to her parents and grandparents, Pam was greeted at Heaven’s Gate by her sister, Cynthia Joyce Martin and sister, Teresa Joyce Tucker. Being reunited with her loved ones and to finally be in the presence of her Lord and Savior was surely the most joyous day. Pam is survived by her son, Keith Alan Coleman (Christina) of Walnut Cove; daughter, Dena Barber Williams (Brian) of Kernersville; sister, Angela Joyce Poitras (Eric) of Riverview, Fl.; three grandsons, Logan, Dustin, and Kellan; one great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. Pam will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren and all those that knew and loved her. Funeral services celebrating Pam’s life will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Don Clement officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery, Kernersville, NC. The family will greet friends from 12:00PM to 1:00PM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
