May 7th, 1911 - January 21st, 2013
Nell S. Marshall, 101, a life-long resident of Kernersville, died peacefully in her sleep on January 21, 2013 in the Palliative Care unit of Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Friday January 25, 2013 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel with Dr. Stephen Martin officiating. Born May 7, 1911, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Lee J. Marshall, both were members of First Baptist Church of Kernersville. Survivors include her two sons Michael L. Marshall and Christine, and Bruce C. Marshall and Carolyn all of Kernersville; four granddaughters Blair, Bridget, Maureen, and Melanie; eleven great-grandchildren; and special niece, Sarah (Mabe) Jackson and husband Ben of Winston-Salem. Friends may visit with the family from 5-7pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
