Kernersville Virginia Cummings Plumley, 91, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 13, 2013. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 12:00PM at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville. The family will visit with friends prior to the service at 11:00AM in the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto Cummings and Alma Skeens Cummings, her husband, Harold Augustus Plumley, and daughter, Ginger Lea Welch. Virginia is survived by her son Gary Lynn Plumley; granddaughter Katheren Lea Bowman and husband Jack Lynn, and grandson Shannon Lynn Plumley; great-granddaughters Tara Lea Pfaff and husband Christopher Laith, and Chloe Wolf, great-grandsons Casey Drew Bowman, Daze Markus Plumley, and Kingston Pierce; and great great-grandson Levi Drew Bowman; her brothers Dennis and Conrad Cummings; and sisters Betty Ann Merritt and Bernice Hatton.
