Kernersville-Keith Nelson Griffin, 54, left this earth unexpectedly on May 8, 2012. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held 11:00AM Friday May 11, 2012 at the Chapel in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. A native of Forsyth County, he was the son of Frances S. Griffin and Ted N. Griffin. He was a graduate of East Forsyth High School Class of '76. He was an electrician by trade for the past 36 years, and he along with his son Kris operated the K-N-G Electric Company in Kernersville. He loved dirt bikes, photography, and also was an avid guitarist. Keith could always be counted upon by all who knew him to help and never expect anything in return. He gave unselfishly time and again of himself. Survivors include his mother and father Frances and Ted Griffin of Winston-Salem; son Kris Griffin and Allyson of High Point; sister Karin Tolbert and Mike of Rural Hall; his fiancé© Kellie Newsome of Winston-Salem; and niece Miranda Koester and Ben of Winston-Salem. The family will visit with friends from 6-8pm Thursday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home.
