Kernersville-Crystal Lynn Parrett Johnson, 49, went home to be with her Lord April 1, 2011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM Wednesday April 6, 2011 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Paul Dechant O.S.F.S. officiating. A native of Germany, she was the daughter of Judith Traylor and Virgil Parrett who survive. She lived most of her early years in Dayton, Ohio. She located to North Carolina in 2003 to be closer to her family. She loved being a mother and grandmother. She was the wife of the late Lonnie Lee Johnson who died in 1994. Survivors include her three beautiful daughters Thosha M. Chambers, Megan E. Johnson, and Loni Nicole Johnson all of Winston-Salem; mother Judith Traylor and Carl of Dayton, Ohio; father Virgil Parrett and Kathy of Kernersville; sister Joyce "Cricket" Brown of Winston-Salem; brothers David Parrett and Terri of Dayton, Ohio, and Tommy Parrett of Winston-Salem; step-daughter Julie Johnson Hamilton and Mark of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren Devon, Mikeal, Mercy, Maggie Lynnlee, and Shawn; and one expected granddaughter on the way. The family will visit with friends from 6-7:30PM Tuesday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home.
