Cecil Patrick Ivey

Cecil Patrick Ivey, 74, passed away July 19, 2017 at Silas Creek Rehabilitation Center. A gathering of friends and family will be 3:00PM Sunday August 6, 2017 at the Jefferson House, 213 West Mountain Street, Kernersville, NC. Cecil was born November 18, 1942 in Rockingham County to the late Nettie Collins and Henry Patrick Ivey. He was raised by his late aunt and uncle, Ollie and Floyd Collins of Reidsville, NC. Survivors include his wife Denise Dull Ivey of the home; sons, Patrick Ivey and wife Linda, Mike Ivey, Chris Ivey and wife Annette; grandchildren, Jennifer Ivey, Stephen Ivey, Graham Ivey, Meredith Ivey and Heather Ivey; great-granddaughter, Addison Ivey; cousins, Katherine Combs, Linda Bass, Tommy Collins and wife Malinda. Cecil graduated from Reidsville High School, where he was a member of the varsity football team. For the majority of his career he was involved in the automobile sales industry. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality and his love for his family. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to Kate B.
