Ralph “Rudi” John Krause, 87, passed away June 24, 2017. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Ralph was the son of the late Laura Wrobleski Krause and Walter Krause. He enlisted and served his country with the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Ralph was retired from the Chrysler Corporation after almost 30 years of service. He was married to the late Gloria Marie Murray for 61 years who died October 4, 2011. In addition he also was preceded in death by his daughter Cheryl Farley, granddaughter Shelley Lynn, and brother Robert “Bob” Krause. Survivors include his children Jeff Krause and Cathy of Bonita Springs, Florida, Diane Diffin and Jack of Kernersville, and Douglas Krause and Florence of Shelby Township, Michigan; grandchildren Jason Krause and Mandy, Jared Krause and Stacy, Jonathan Krause and Kaitlin, Kimberly Mitchell and Rob, Jessica Smrdel and Johnny, Erik Diffin, and Nicholas Krause and Angelica; great-grandchildren Kenan, Cody, Caden, Myles, Blaikley, Carter, Leighton, Hudson, Thatcher, and Gabriella; brother Ted Krause of Ohio; and a host of extended family and friends. A time of fellowship and sharing will be held at a later date.
