Roger M. Goza, 76, passed away March 14, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Funeral services celebrating his life will be 4:00PM Saturday March 18, 2017 at Kernersville Moravian Church. Burial will follow the service in God’s Acre of Kernersville Moravian Church. Roger was born September 15, 1940 in Lewisburg, TN to the late Sylvia Michael and Era Taylor Goza. After graduation from Tate High School in Pensacola, FL, he served his country honorably in the US Air Force from 1958 to 1962. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Roger Michael “Mike” Goza, Jr.; brother Wayne Goza; sister Judy Conklin and son-in-law Mark Taylor. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, of 45 years, Sallie Vance Goza; sons Fred Goza, Kevin Goza and wife Dep; daughter Mickey Taylor; grandchildren Michael Jay Goza, Jagger Goza, Mikaylah Taylor, Brianna Goza, Nick Goza and Kaleb Goza; three great-grandchildren; brothers Gary Goza and B. Kevin Goza. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of the church immediately following the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in his honor to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to Kernersville Moravian Church, 504 S.
