James "Buddy" Barnett Finison
September 25th, 1952 - December 23rd, 2015
James “Buddy” Barnett Finison, Jr., 63, went home to be with the Lord December 23, 2015. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 1:30PM Monday December 28, 2015 at the Shining Light Baptist Church in Greensboro with Pastor Thomas Satterfield officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. A native of Guilford County, Buddy was the son of the late James “Jim” Barnett Finison and Barbara Dunivant Finison Coleman who survives and the late Roger P. Coleman. He had worked for Landair Transport Company. He was a member of Shining Light Baptist Church. Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years LeAnn Deal Finison of the home; Shane Finison and Mary of Sanford, and Jeremy Finison and Sarah of Pine Hall; grandchildren Luke, Michaela, Aiden, and Lily; mother Barbara Finison-Coleman of Greensboro; sisters Marcia Wall and Ernie of Oak Ridge, and Amy Losoncy and Ken of Killeen, TX; brothers Joe Finison and Tisha of Jamestown, and Bobby Finison and Angie of Riverview, FL; step-siblings Doug Coleman and Bronda, Randy Coleman and Kelly, and Terri Busby and Jay all of Greensboro; and a host of extended family and friends. The family will visit with friends beginning at 12:00PM on Monday at the church.
