Winston-Salem-Patty Vogler Cameron, 83, passed away Saturday October 10, 2015. A Gathering of Family and Friends to celebrate her life will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening October 13, 2015 at the Jefferson House located beside Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home in Kernersville. Patty was the daughter of the late Marie Ijames and Anderson Lerzell Vogler. She was married to the late Rogers Hornsby Cameron who died October 12, 2014 for almost 65 years. She was a longtime member of Union Ridge United Methodist Church where she volunteered in the Nursery and also helped to make the church’s Chicken Pies. Her family was most important to her and also enjoyed her yard work. Survivors include her children Mike Cameron and Teresa, David Cameron, Cheri Cameron Newell and Byron, and Robin Cameron Bull and Terry; grandchildren Brandon Cameron, Britney Cameron, Jack Cameron, Charlotte Newell, Jordan Newell, Cameron Ligon and Joseph, and Cheri Lingafelt and Justin; and brother John Vogler and Sheila.
