Margaret "Veach" Naomi Hutchins
July 21st, 1921 - August 6th, 2015
Margaret Veach Hutchins, 94, went home to be with the Lord August 6, 2015. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 1:00PM Saturday August 8, 2015 at Pisgah United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeff Harlow and Dr. Bobby Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Forsyth County, Margaret was the daughter of the late Cora Jones and John G. Veach, Sr. She was a graduate of Kernersville High School. She, and her husband Garland who survives, were the owners of the former Hutchins Furniture Company. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by son Timothy Alan Hutchins, brothers Travis Veach and John G. Veach, Jr., sisters Virginia Stanley, Karol Kay Cook, and Betty Jean Veach. Survivors include her loving husband of 74 years Garland A. Hutchins of the home; son Gary W. Hutchins and Marie of Kernersville; grandchildren Tanya Day of Kernersville, Kendell Sell and Alvin of Greenville, S.C., and Christopher Hutchins and Sharon of Winston-Salem; great-grandchildren Ross Day of Walkertown, Nicholas Day of Walkertown, Cory Day of Winston-Salem, John Sell and Ashley of St. Louis, MO, Joseph Sell and Angela of Charlotte, Kari Rice and Matthew of Charleston, SC, Alec Hutchins, Ashlyn Hutchins, and Alden Hutchins all of Winston-Salem; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will visit with friends from Noon until time for the service on Saturday at the church.
