He is survived by his wife, of almost 53 years, Sylvia Rose Mort; daughters Gwendolyn Winchester and Debra Mort; step-daughter Kathie Francis; step-son Terry Boothe; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandaughter.
