August 7th, 1961 - March 31st, 2015
Kernersville-Wayne A. Davis, 53, died peacefully at home, following an extended illness, March 31, 2015. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 2:00PM Saturday April 4, 2015 at Main Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Carter officiating. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the church. A native of Boston, Wayne is the son of Shirley Anne Smith Davis and Arthur Lawrence Davis who survive. He served his Country as a US Marine and had worked for a number of years in the Pharmaceutical Industry as a sales representative. He was preceded in death by his brother Lawrence "Larry" Davis. Survivors include his loving wife of almost 21 years, Cathleen "Cathy" Davis of the home; son Cullen Wayne Davis of the home; daughters Jessica Carroll Adams and Ed of Columbus, GA, and Meghan Carroll of Greensboro; grandson Thomas Adams; parents Arthur and Shirley Davis of Pinehurst, NC; and a host of extended family and friends.
