Biography Kernersville-Paul L. Grimes, 82, passed on March 28, 2015. Paul was the son of the late Ora Kate Lawrence and William Lewis Grimes. A machinist by trade, Paul had worked with his brother with the former Grimes Machine Company. He served his Country with the US Army 82nd Airborne Division. In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by his wife Betty Lou Bowen Grimes; son Paul Dennis Grimes; brothers David and Edward Grimes; sisters Norma Jean, Vivian, and Juanita. Survivors include his two daughters; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, two brothers Daniel and Richard; and a host of extended family and friends. Service Information
