June 15th, 1934 - February 18th, 2018
John Herman Tedder, Jr. left this world to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 18, 2018. There will be a celebration of life event on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 12:00 until 4:00PM at Woodland Hall, which is located at Triad Park, 9652 West Market Street, Kernersville, NC 27284. This will be a casual event and food will be served at 1:00PM. John was born June 15, 1934 in Taylor County, Florida to the late Henrietta Lanier and John Herman Tedder. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Richmond Tedder and Calvin Buchanon. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Hilda Jean Hunter Tedder; sons, Kevin, Todd, and Scot Tedder; daughters, Carol, Sandy, and Lisa; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-granchildren; brothers, Bryant, Jack, and RP Tedder; sisters, Wanda Tedder Cash, Tina Tedder Anderson, and Betty Jane Tedder Holton. John loved God, family, hunting, fishing, gardening and his fellow Marines. He never met a stranger. He was loved by his family and friends. He will be missed!
