Mocksville - Sherry Steelman Smith, 53, died November 15, 2014. Funeral services celebrating her life will be 6:00 pm Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Chapel in Kernersville, NC. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Sherry was born May 18, 1961 in Greensboro, NC to Gloria Jean Robinson and Joe Lee Steelman. She is also survived by her husband William Jay Smith; daughter Tiffany Anne Dickens and husband Brian; son Chase Tyler Smith; grandchildren Katelynn Leanne Paschal, William Trent Paschal Smith, Maci Brooke Dickens and Bentley Cole Dickens; sister Elizabeth Ann Murphy; brother Alan Roy Steelman and wife Deborah and numerous other family members and friends that loved her. Sherry's compassion and love could be felt by everyone that met her and she was truly an Angel on Earth and will never be forgotten.
