Chris Donovan of Littleton, CO passed away at home on April 11, 2016. An artist and a dancer, she was also a beloved teacher, Life Coach, Astrologer, and Tarot reader. She began dancing when she was 3 years old, later taught ballet, had an aerobics studio, and worked as an RN in cardiac intensive care. Throughout her life, Chris studied with many teachers and mentors. She studied with Gabrielle Roth, founder of the 5 Rhythms, and was one of the first authorized teachers of that work which she taught in both Maine and Colorado. She also studied with with Emilie Conrad, founder of Continuum, and more recently with Martha Beck. A Mystic and dear friend of the heart, Chris’ many students benefited from her deep knowledge, insight, compassion, and love of her work. She is survived by her Life Partner Eleanor DeVinny, daughters Sasha Werner and Donyelle Werner, son-in-law Alex Ivanov, grandchildren Tyler, Noah, and Sofia, former husband Bruce Werner, sister Kathy Cheska, and brother Tom Aitken. Chris has invited you to send flowers or make a donation in her honor to a person or an organization close to your heart. A Celebration of her life is pending.
