Biography Kernersville-Anderson Calvin "AC" Beasley, 83, died April 15, 2013. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 11:00AM Friday April 19, 2013 at the Mausoleum Chapel of Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. A native of Rockingham County, "AC" was the son of the late Pearl Brooks and William Bryant Beasley. "AC" was the owner of Colfax Oil Company in Colfax for many years. He was also lifelong member of Colfax Fire Department, member of Kernersville Lions Club, member of Kernersville Moose Lodge, member of Main Street Baptist Church, and he was a Mason. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by sisters Martha McCollum, Nancy Crouch, and Earline White, and brothers Tommy, Clarence, Junior, and Billy Beasley. Survivors include his daughter Cheryl Sams and Tory of Kernersville; son Mark Beasley and Susan of Hendersonville; grandchildren Sarah and Zachary Beasley; sisters Shirley Schoffner, Juanita "Sis" Lindley, and Bonnie Quick; brother Doug Beasley; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will visit with friends from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Thursday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home.
