Alyssa Layne Huggins
November 23rd, 1960 - January 10th, 2018
Alyssa Layne Huggins, 57, passed away January 10, 2018. Alyssa was a longtime resident of Kernersville and was born to the late Dock A. Huggins and Ann H. Brooks who survives. She graduated from Williamson High School in Franklin, Tennessee. She later graduated from Randolph Community College. She had worked for many years with USAir and later American Airlines. In addition to her father, she also was preceded in death by her brother James Lloyd Huggins. Survivors include her mother Ann H. Brooks of Kernersville; brother David Huggins and Beth of Kernersville; niece Fayanne Huggins and fiancé Steven Johnston of Kernersville; nephew Branson Huggins and Vanessa of Kernersville; step-son Dustin King and Bridget of Lumberton; and numerous friends in the Triad area and also Tennessee. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the spring to honor her wishes.
