Jonathan "Jon" L Knowles

Jonathan L Knowles of Graham, Washington passed away on April 29, 2024. Surrounded by loved ones after a long difficult battle

With Wegener’s disease, Heart Disease and Diabetes.

Jon was born on August 24,1947 in Korea. He was adopted by his Parents, both in the Navy, on February 14,1957. He Graduated Murray State University, with a degree in Engineering. He later went into the Navy and served for 10 years, after he left he went to work for the Navy at, the Naval Avionics center, in Indiana, working on Missile guidance systems, which he was very proud of. He retired after 25 years as a GS13. He then went to work for Pierce Transit, as a Bus driver for 13 years and retired in 2016.

In 2012 he met Pamela on the Internet, they never looked back. They were married on June 8, 2013 and traveled the country, meeting up with friends and relatives, taking trips in the spring and fall. He loved touring around the United States.

Jon is survived by his wife, Pamela Knowles. Step Children; Emma (Sean) Ruhl, Jennifer (Shawn Tibbitts), Michael (Christina) Phipps.

He had 6 Step grandchildren; Jessica, Jennifer, Ashlyn, Brendan, Michele and Michael, Wyatt and Scarlett. 3 Great Grandchildren; Grantlee, Lea, and Ashton.

Jon loved all his Pets, dogs and cats, as well as all animals. In Lieu of flowers, Please consider a donation to your favorite Humane Society.
