Charles "Chuck" Joseph Scanlon

Charles Joseph Scanlon 73, of North Port FL, passed away on May 28, 2024. He was born in July 1950 to John Matthew and Mabel Scanlon. He was an US Army veteran that served in Korea and Germany.
After relocating from Maryland to Florida with his family, he mostly worked in construction management, he took up golfing, cycling, fishing, boating, and camping.
Chuck will be remembered as loyal to his friends and family. He was passionate, devoted, witty, determined, and hard working. His outgoing personality allowed him to make friends wherever he went.
He is predeceased by: parents John Scanlon & Mabel Scanlon, siblings: Linda, Blair and John-John.
Charles (Chuck) is survived by his wife Celia, MIL June, his siblings, Bob, Barbara, Esther, Darlene, and his children Keith (Victoria), Krystal (Mark), Bryan (Kasey), his grandchildren, Jacob, Sarah, Joshua, Jeremy, Josh, Allie, Mark Joseph, Jonathon, Kaydince, Brody, Karter. Great grandchildren, Joseph, Charlie, Lucas, Caris, Junior and Keith.
Visitation will be held from 3PM to 4PM with a service starting at 4PM at Farley Funeral Home in North Port, FL on 6/21/24. Please share your personal memories of Chuck.
