Roy Palmateer, 96, of South Pasadena, went to fly with the angels on October 25, 2018, after his many years as a crop duster and helicopter pilot. Survived by wife, Penny, of 72 years and daughter Penny Lee Turner (Chris), of Alabama. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Pasadena Community Church, American Legion Post 125 of Gulfport, or Bay Pines VA Hospital. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel in St. Petersburg is serving the family.
