Bertha "Betty" Rosenbluth
October 20th, 1921 - September 10th, 2015
October 20, 1921 - September 10, 2015 Bertha (Toth) Rosenbluth was born in Huntsburg, Ohio on October 20, 1921. She moved to Cleveland in 1933, and graduated from West High School in 1938. She married Harold Rosenbluth in 1953 and they moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, in 1960. Betty lived in her St Pete house (built by husband Harold) for 50 years. She had two children, Julie (husband: Matthew) and Joanne (husband: Steve). Betty was a loving and cherished grandmother to Solomon and Phoebe, Alexandra and Nikki. She is survived by her brother Joseph Toth (wife: Nettie), brother-in-law Bert Rosenbluth, sister-in-law Beverlee Rosenbluth and sister-in-law Dorothy Rosenbluth Feinberg, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Betty's fondness for St Pete and her love for family and friends provided her with everlasting and memorable social and familial relationships. She was so appreciative of the generosity and kindness of the Rosenbluth, Schaffer, and Toth families for actively and supportively including her in countless family events held over the years in St Petersburg, Gainesville, and Cleveland (east side and west side). Betty never forgot a birthday, anniversary or special occasion and was renown for her lively participation in the festivities at family events. Betty was a wonderfully kind person - eager to share her humanity with whomever she encountered. We will miss her greatly and wish her all the peace and comfort she provided to all of us during her life. In lieu of flowers, Betty requested donations be made to charities of your choice benefitting children and animals. A few of her favorites include UNICEF, Heifer International and Humane Society of Pinellas. Funeral services will be 10AM Sunday, Sept. 13 at David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel in St. Petersburg is serving the family. Service Information
