Irene R. Kelsey

IRENE R. KELSEY 95 of Clearwater, died Aug. 21,2015. Born on a farm in Iowa, married to Arthur I., her husband of 75 years. If you knew Irene, you loved Irene. Survived by two daughters, Jean (Keith) Williams, Illinois, and Kay (William) Schroeder, Florida; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. In her early years Irene worked as an operator for the telephone company with the old style plug-in switch boards; she was active as a troop leader with her daughters in the Girl Scouts and worked several years for Bankers Life Ins. Co. Irene loved to play golf and tennis, ice skating and roller skating, and was an avid walker, also Irene loved ball room dancing. She was a dedicated Iowa Hawkeye football, and Cubs and Rays fan. She fully supported the Kids and Kubs and Three Score Soft Ball Leagues, where her husband Art is a member. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 10 AM - 10:45 AM at David C. Gross Funeral Home in Clearwater, followed by Funeral Mass at 11 AM at Light of Christ Catholic Church. Interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. David C.
