Donaline "Dona" Roth

Donaline Johnson Roth (Dona), age 74 of Franktown, Colorado, passed away on August 29th, 2020. Donaline was born on December 7th, 1945 to Fredrick and Louise Johnson in Dorchester, Massachusetts. When Dona was a young child, she and her parents moved to Denver, Colorado. Dona graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1963. Then went on to Trinidad Junior College with an associate in applied science and major in secretarial science in 1965. Dona spent several years working in the business office at Denver General Hospital, she went on to become a waitress when her daughters were younger. She then got back into using her secretarial science degree and became an office manager for her local Kmart. Dona then went into home building, where she worked for U.S. Home/Lennar. Dona met her husband Bob at a Halloween party in 1961. In 1968 Dona and Bob were married on Sept. 21st. In May of 1971 Dona and Bob had their first daughter, and in March of 1973 they had their second daughter. On Dona and Bob’s 15th wedding anniversary Bob gave Dona her first horse. Two years later and two more horses later, the family moved to Franktown. Dona is survived by her Husband Robert (aka: Bob), Daughters Renee (Shawn) and Holly (Robert), 13 Grandchildren Ryan, Blakelee (Josh), Beckah (Brandon), Robbie, Raelynn, Daniel, Courtney, Colton, Connor, Cody, David (Melissa) and Alecia (Justin). Preceding her in death are her parents Fredrick and Louise Johnson, and her granddaughter Gracie. Dona’s life will be celebrated on Oct. 4th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Pikes Peak Grange 3093 N State Hwy 83, Franktown, CO 80116.
