October 4th, 1946 - May 23rd, 2015
Mr. David Peake, 68 of Clearwater, formerly of Fremont, Ohio passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 7:35p.m. in Largo Medical Hospital, Largo, Florida. He was born Oct. 4, 1946 to Marshall and Betty (Snyder) Peake. David graduated Old Fort High School in 1964. Serving in the Reserves 1966-1972 after attending a short semester at Bowling Green. He worked for Whirlpool as an Electrician until moving to Florida in 1984. He then worked for Lockheed Martin in Largo, Fl and HSN in St. Petersburg, Fl from which he retired in 2009. He was a HUGH Ohio State fan. Liked watching NASCAR, loved watching golf and spending time with friends. He is survived by his longtime best friend and companion of 14 yrs, Loretta Pleitner; his mother Betty Peake, sister Wanda McQuiston, nephew Brian McQuistion, great neice Zoey Neiling, great nephew Jacob McQuistion. Daughter Amy DeHart, Orange Park, Fl, two grandchildren Danielle and Tyler DeHart and son Michael Peake. He is preceded in death by his father, Marshall Peake. A private cremation has been planned.
