Memorial

Michael William Maxwell passed away on Jan. 18, 2020. He is survived by his three sisters Suzanne, Colleen, and Maureen; his daughter and son-in-law Heather and Cody and two grandchildren Aspen and Forest; his best friend Suzette; and friends of long standing. Mike loved camping and traveling and visited countries on three continents and two oceans. He was a river rafter for many years, guiding people down the rapids of several of Colorado’s rivers. He ran his own business installing carpeting and specialty flooring. He enjoyed reading, especially science fiction, and explored other kinds of books. He didn’t hold back in offering help where he could, often helping one sister or another move to a new home (including across the country) and helping his parents with repairs of their home. These few words cannot express how much his sisters and daughter miss him. We are very grateful he was a part of our lives. Mike had many hobbies and interests. If you wish to honor Mike with a donation, please support an organization that represents your memories of Mike.
