I wish I was a little rock. Just a "sittin" on the hill. "Doin" "nothin" all day long. But just a "sittin" still. I wouldn't eat. I wouldn't sleep. I wouldn't even wash. I'd just sit there a thousand years and rest myself B'GOSH! by John Scott Wells John Scott Wells, beloved husband of Rose Wells, loving father of Laura Ashley Wells and Kelly Vogelpohl, brother of Bobbi, and friend to many passed away suddenly on May 30, 2014. He graduated from Florida Southern College, Xavier University, and Chase Law School in Cincinnati Ohio where he was president of the Law Review. He practiced law in Ohio and Kentucky. John (Scott) was compassionate and always tried to help others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Laura Wells. The family will receive friends at David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 1 PM until service time at 2PM. Interment will follow in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, Largo. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory would be appreciated to the family. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel in St. Petersburg is serving the family. Service Information
