Leonard "Len" A. Goldman
August 6th, 1924 - December 26th, 2013
Leonard A. "Len" Goldman, 89, of St. Petersburg, passed away Dec. 26, 2013. Len was born in New York City and served in the Army during WW II, receiving a Purple Heart. He was an avid pet lover and was known as "Papa Len" to many who knew and loved him. Len is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Libby; daughters, Marcie (Wayne) Clayman and Saralee Greenfield (Brenda McIntyre); grandchildren, Jeffrey Clayman, Jillian (Jack) Feltham, and Matthew Greenfield; sister, Sally (Bill) Bassoff; sister-in-law, Bobbie Goldberg; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, Dec. 31 at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 SR 72, Sarasota, FL 34241. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Len's memory to the American Heart Association or your local Humane Society. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel in St. Petersburg is serving the family. Service Information
