M Larry Bortz, age 84, a 21 year resident of Las Vegas, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Larry was born June 29, 1930 in Pittsburgh PA to the late Edward and the late Jane Bortz. Formerly of Woodland Hills CA, Larry was an aerospace engineer for the Jet Propulsion Lab. He enjoyed all types of sports, especially golf and watching his beloved Steelers. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Myrna Bortz; children Janie Perry of Las Vegas and Dave Bortz of Los Angeles CA; grandchildren Danielle, Nicholas and Alyssa; great grandchildren James and Brett; and brother Harold (Elaine) Bortz. Services are pending.
