James Moore Berg
May 7th, 1933 - July 27th, 2011
James Moore Berg (Jim), proud Las Vegas resident, passed away on July 27, 2011 at 78 years of age. James was born on May 7, 1933 in Madison WI, to the late Louis and Bettina Berg, Jim is survived by his son, Christopher Berg, and daughter Elizabeth Childress, and grandchildren Travis Childress, Christine Berg, and Kimberley Berg. Grandson Matthew Childress passed prematurely before him. A man of many interests, Jim was an avid coin collector, a passionate baccarat and video poker player, a bowler, a golfer (with a hole in one!), and an artist with both oil paint and pixel. He was proud of his military service and an ardent patriot. He had over 27 years in the aerospace industry supporting the Apollo and Space Shuttle programs. His strong resonant voice remained with him to the end. Services will be held at Kraft Sussman Funeral Services at 3975 S Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, 89147 on Monday, August 1, at 11 a.m.
