Thomas Edward Garrity, 86, of St. Petersburg, passed away October 3, 2013. Thomas was born in Philadelphia, PA and served in the Navy during World War II. He worked at the Pennsylvania State Hospital at Embreeville for many years, becoming their head of maintenance before retiring. Thomas is survived by sister Jean Ackey and his sons Thomas Jr., Timothy, David and three grandchildren. A private cremation has been planned. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel in St. Petersburg is serving the family. Service Information
