Born to Marvin & Ella Gallagher in Nashville, Tennessee. As a young child, her family moved about, finally settling in Portland Oregon. Mary worked off and on through out her life, finally retiring from Purdy Brush Company. She made many friends during her years of life. Mary enjoyed camping ,fishing, gardening, but most of all she enjoyed the time she spent with family. Her door was always open and the coffee was always on. She passed away peacefully with family by her side. She is survived by her husband, James Nelson; daughter, Debra L. Householder(Dave); son, Duane L. White Jr.(Susan); son, Dennis L. White; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and two brothers and sisters. At Mary’s request No services will be held, but a gathering of friends and family will take place. T.B.D. We ask that anyone who wishes to, may make donations to The American Cancer Society in Mary’s name.
