Martin Zung

Martin Zung 76 of Tampa passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruth Zung; son Jonathan and daughter-in-law Renee of Holland PA; son Jeremy and daughter in-law Diane of Tampa; along with his four grandchildren, Andrew, Ashley, Jessica and Matthew. Marty was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and a proud graduate of Fordham University where he received his Pharmacy degree. A retired pharmacist and educator, Marty continued to enjoy his occasional work as a Pharmacist after his retirement. He was a devoted husband, and loving father and grandfather who will always be remembered for his generosity, wit and passion for antique collectables. He was a member of Temple Ahavat Shalom, Palm Harbor and Tampa Bay Downs. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at David C. Gross Funeral Home in Clearwater. Burial will be at New Montefiore Cemetery, Situated at Pinelawn, Town of Babylon,Suffolk County, NY on Wednesday February 13, 2013 at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory would be appreciated to Temple Ahavat Shalom, Palm Harbor, 1575 Curlew Road, Palm Harbor, Florida 34683 1. The family will be sitting Shiva immediately after the funeral services at the home of Jeremy and Diane Zung.
