Chris A. Abare 49 of Largo died December 19, 2012. He is predeceased by his parents Earle Sr. and Margaret, brother Michael. He is survived by his wife Katherine and son Taylor. His two living brothers Earle Jr. and wife Christine. Brother Mark and life partner Marie Merchant. Six nieces and nephews and their families. Chris was a lifelong resident of Palmer, Massachusetts. He was respected and well liked by all in the community. He started coaching his son's football little league making his way up to high school as an assistant coach. First coach to help students get into A-1 colleges. His greatest passion in life was football including playing himself on the farm team for the New England Patriots. He always wanted to live in a tropical state and loved living in Florida since 2008. He was a self taught guaitarist & loved playing his Les Paul. His other dream in life was to see the country where his profession as a truck allowed him to do this in his last days with us. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and his two beloved four legged best friends Maximus "Max" and Zackary "Zac". We love you Chris. Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at David C. Gross Funeral Home in Clearwater. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to service. David C. Gross Funeral Home, Belcher Road Chapel in Clearwater is serving the family. Service Information
