Antonio Sonsona Embalzado, Sr.
June 13th, 1942 - April 7th, 2012
Antonio Sonsona Embalzado, Sr., age 69, of Las Vegas, died Saturday, April 7, 2012. Antonio was born June 13, 1942 in the Philippines to the late Francisco and the late Dionisia (Claracay) Embalzado. Tony worked as a car rental driver in the Philippines. After coming to Las Vegas in 1996, he worked for the Nevada Palace Casino. Tony had a very positive and strong attitude. He enjoyed boxing, karaoke, basketball, current affairs and politics. He was a very religious man, even watching church services on television when he was too ill to attend church in person. Antonio is survived by his wife Demetria(Lavandero) Embalzado, Sr., four daughters Grace Embalzado of Las Vegas, NV, Sharon Embalzado, Leah Rust of Las Vegas, NV, Jacqueline Jenny of Switzerland and one son Antonio Embalzado, Jr.; grandchildren Chelsea Rust, Amanda Rust, Jacob Hernandez, Javen Jacinto and Jomar Jacinto; and siblings Francisco Embalzado Jr, Norberto Embalzado, Herondia Mendero and Felipe Embalzado all of the Philippines. The funeral will be held at 5:00 pm on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV. Burial will be in Ocana Cemetery, in Carcar City in the Philippines. .
