February 25th, 1936 - January 12th, 2012
Donald C. Kowalewski, 75, of St. Petersburg, passed away Jan. 12, 2012. Don was born in Chicago, IL and proudly served in the Marines. He worked as a dedicated and compassionate insurance agent for over 40 years, earning many national honors. Don was a wonderful and caring husband who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Pam; son Donald C. Kowalewski, M.D. (Cathy); daughters Karen (Steve) Zaugg and Kristin Strigel; step-daughters Genny (Robert) Perry and Rebecca (William) Sawyer; and grandchildren Beth, D.C. III, Miranda, Ciara, Dominique, Sydney, Kelsey, and Trinity. Donations in Don's memory would be appreciated to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 811 West Evergreen Avenue, Suite 204, Chicago, IL 60642 A memorial service will be held for Don on Sunset Beach at 6pm on Saturday, February 25th.
